  1. For a modern Galaxy Watch, use a compatible Android phone and the Samsung Health → Health Connect route.
  2. If you own an older iOS-compatible Galaxy Watch model, check Samsung’s model-specific support; do not assume it exports complete workouts and heart rate to Apple Health.

What to expect

Unavailable for modern Galaxy Watches as a first-party iPhone route. Older models need model-specific verification and are not recommended as a reliable Zone Training Log path.

Important limitations

  • Samsung documents that newer Galaxy Watch models using Wear OS are not compatible with iOS.
  • Older watch compatibility does not establish a documented, complete Apple Health workout export.

Verify the data before opening Zone Training Log

  1. In Apple Health, check Browse → Activity → Workouts and inspect the listed data source.
  2. If Samsung Health is absent as a source, Zone Training Log cannot retrieve those workouts.

Troubleshooting

  • Use the Android Samsung Health guide for a current Galaxy Watch.
  • Avoid third-party bridges if predictable workout and heart-rate completeness matters.

Once the workout and heart-rate samples are visible, review the session in the Training Log and check its time-in-zone context.
