Purpose

Zone Training Log publishes practical educational material for endurance athletes. Articles and calculators are designed to clarify training decisions, not to diagnose, treat, or replace individualized advice from a clinician or qualified coach.

Research standards

Substantive claims should be supported by relevant primary research, peer-reviewed reviews, or official documentation. Sources are linked close to the claim they support. When evidence is mixed, indirect, or based on population estimates, the article should say so and avoid presenting a single method as universal.

Writing and human review

AI may help with research organization and drafting. A human editor reviews every published article for clarity, source support, internal consistency, practical safety, and alignment with the product. AI output is not treated as a source.

Unless an article explicitly names a clinical or professional reviewer, it has not received independent medical review. Author experience and credentials are shown on article pages so readers can judge the perspective behind the guidance.

Training and health boundaries

Training zones, readiness signals, workload models, and calculator outputs are estimates. Content should explain important limitations and encourage readers to use symptoms, context, testing, and professional guidance when appropriate. Urgent or concerning symptoms require appropriate medical care, not an online calculator.

Updates and corrections

Articles are updated when source guidance, product behavior, or material facts change. Significant corrections should update the article modification date. Readers can report an error through the contact page.

Commercial independence

Articles may explain how Zone Training Log supports a workflow and may link to the app. Product relevance does not change the evidence standard, and educational claims should not be strengthened to manufacture a product benefit.
