Data path

Galaxy Watch
Samsung Health
Health Connect
Zone Training Log

Set up the connection

  1. Pair the watch with Samsung Health and record a workout.
  2. In Samsung Health, open Settings → Health Connect and allow exercise and heart-rate writes.
  3. In Health Connect, allow Zone Training Log to read exercise sessions and heart rate.
  4. Return to Zone Training Log after Samsung Health finishes syncing.

What to expect

Supported. Samsung documents exercise sessions and heart-rate records through Health Connect; completeness still depends on the watch recording and sync finishing.

Important limitations

  • This is a multi-step route; every link needs permission and time to sync.
  • Samsung may expose additional data types that Zone Training Log does not use for zone analysis.

Verify the data before opening Zone Training Log

  1. Open Health Connect → Data and access → Activity → Exercise sessions and inspect the Samsung Health entry.
  2. Check Vitals → Heart rate for readings during the same time range.

Troubleshooting

  • Open Samsung Health once after the workout to let it sync before checking Zone Training Log.
  • If the exercise exists without heart rate, review Samsung Health’s Health Connect permissions for both data types.
