Zone Training Log

Set up the connection

  1. Use Zone Training Log on the paired iPhone and grant Apple Health access there.
  2. For Android, record with a watch or app that officially writes workouts and heart rate to Health Connect.

What to expect

Unavailable as a first-party Android path. An Apple Watch workout will not normally appear in Android Health Connect.

Important limitations

  • Apple Watch is designed to pair with iPhone and writes workout data to Apple Health, not Android Health Connect.
  • Zone Training Log does not maintain a direct Apple Watch connector or recommend an unofficial bridge.

Verify the data before opening Zone Training Log

  1. Open Health Connect → Data and access → Activity to see whether any workout source is writing records.
  2. Check the data-source name; an Apple Watch source is not expected on Android.

Troubleshooting

  • Do not repeatedly change Zone Training Log permissions—the missing link is upstream of the app.
  • Choose a Health Connect-compatible Android source or use the iPhone version with Apple Health.
